Brenda - a caring friend
We arrived at our hotel in Jaipur this morning together with our dear friends Keri and Carol. Also our friend Zephry, who lives in Jaipur, had been with us in Udaipur. He had told his wife the time he expected us to be here, but they live outside the city so we all thought she stayed home when we arrived.
To our great surprise, there she was outside the hotel to welcome us, first her husband and then all of us with her warm smile and hugs. She had brought her bag with different things just in her concern to help and bless us.
Brenda is just like that, she has such a caring and loving heart, always thinking of our welfare, how she can help and bless. In all the years we have come to India she has always been such a blessing to us together with her dear husband and wonderful family.
Today our excitement was greater than ever, because we had heard the good news that she had been healed from the skin disease that made her skin hard and stiff. But now I could touch her arm and the skin was soft and nice. We were so grateful to God and so encouraged by seeing, touching and meeting Brenda.
Brenda is a dear covenant friend. She is from this great nation of India, speaking another language, she has another colour of skin, but to me that does not matter at all. We are knitted together with bonds of love, we are in the same family of God, my dear sister. I am so happy and grateful to be among her friends.

Hi Solveig,
I was looking through the net for an artist who I heard when I was younger. Her name was Solveig and she sung a song called 'Excellent Word'. It was a beautiful song and I was so encouraged by it. Indeed I played it so often I wore the tape out.
The song was about God's excellent word to the prophets about the coming of his Son.
I was directed to your place journal at the article on grace being an 'excellent word' (4th of January). It was a wonderful and uplifting read and whether you are the Solveig who I was looking for I wanted to write to say thankyou for the work you are doing and taking the time to write it.
I look forward to reading some more and sharing this with my wife.
God Bless,
Duncan
