Meeting together with the family of God

Yesterday was a very refreshing day when I met so many of my sisters of brothers in the church. In the morning two of my prayer partners and friends came to our home. I shared a few words from the Bible and I also gave some specific word God had given me before hand to give them. They received the word very well. We shared our prayer requests and we went before the throne of God and had a wonderful time in worship and prayer. We were all strengthened and blessed and we are confident that we will see and experience God answer our prayers according to His promises. We finished our time by having lunch together.
In the evening Erling and me went to attend the coming together for all the church. At first we met in the cafeteria for fellowship, talking together and enjoying coffee and cakes. A very nice time. Afterwards we met in the main hall. We were praising God for His goodness and the elders told us about the plan and projects, for coming months, and of visitors coming to bring us the word. It was the family being together, a blessed time. We saw a video taken in Kenya this summer and the team from the church who visited this country brought a very exiting report telling us and showing what God had done on this trip.
It is wonderful to belong to a big family of brothers and sisters from all over the world, but it is good that we can be part of a cell group and a congregation where we can know each other, help each other and encourage each other, being built together in the body of Christ.
